I am a deliberate and thoughtful designer committed to prioritizing impactful design.
I completed my Bachelor of Science in Architectural Design at Stanford University in 2016. In Stanford’s interdisciplinary program, I received a widespread introduction to a variety of relevant architectural and engineering topics, from renaissance architectural symbolism to building systems design.
Throughout my work experience, I have been fortunate to gain significant experience in public sector projects, including affordable housing, community buildings, and K-12 educational facilities, as well as private institutional projects.
In working for firms that complete many institutional and public projects with significant budget, code, and programmatic parameters, I’ve gained a valuable view of what designing these types of spaces entails, and have a particular interest in this type of work. I’ve been empowered by public excitement for a project to which I devoted years, and humbled by the cruciality of the tiniest tasks in that project’s development. I’ve worked closely with talented people who have challenged and guided me along a steep learning curve of tangible and necessary design constraints.
I received my Master of Architecture at the University of California, Berkeley, in the spring of 2021. I am a licensed architect in the states of California and New York, and recently relocated to New York City.
